"Ohad Ben Shimon delivers a performance in which he reports on the festival in the form of a diary with text and photographs. Although Ben Shimon himself is not in the center of the picture, he is the protagonist and narrator of the story, and in that sense it is entirely a self-portrait. In an interview with curator Chris Clarke he says that a self portrait according to him, is a portrait of the time and place wherein an artist attempts to reach an image of the self. Conversely, it also appears to be true that a photograph not only documents, but is also a reflection of what the author does."
